The tour was VERY well organized, lots of useful safety instruction. The guides were all very friendly and also well-acquainted with the river. Our guide, Amber, was very good at reading the river and making sure that we didn't miss any rocks :)
The scenery was very interesting, including 2 bighorn sheep drinking from the bank. The water was not nearly as cold as we expected, being merely refreshing rather than uncomfortable. Since the water was fairly low (August), the rapids were "technical", necessitating a lot of steering and offering opportunities for the paddlers to demonstrate their lack of left/right coordination.
