Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

The captain and first mate were amazing. They nolgable and funny. We didn't see many big fish out on the rift but there was still plenty to see.

Captian John and the crew gave us a great snorkling tour out to the Grecian Rocks. The water was crystal clear and we saw so much sea life! Hundreds of colorful fish and huge 5 ft barracuda (don't worry, they told us they don't bother you and they didn't).This was me and my husbands second time snorkling, but it had been a while for us both so we were nervous. We felt super safe and they talked through everything. We did a morning tour and I'm thankful - I'm not sure my stomach would have liked an afternoon tour, even though it was calm! I was surprised and impressed by how long the boat ride was out to the Grecian Rocks - I had anticipated being closer to the shoreline, so this was a pleasant surprise to get out on the tourquoise blue water.

Thanks for the 5 stars! Our crew is very experienced and we are happy they were able to calm your nerves. The reef system is 3-5 miles offshore depending on the site, so you get a beautiful boat ride as well!
