Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Nice trip. Excellent guides. We saw many fish and the waters were warm and pleasant. TripAdvisor does not let a reviewer post a review unless it's long and drawn out.

Waves & wind high. Not correctly informed of weather conditions & mislead. Thank God I had checked with a local fisher regarding conditions & was able to premedicate self. A step in assistant was also rude, as well as discriminatory of Chinese origin. A diver had a malfunctioned O2 tank piece & had to board early. The tall white chunk assistant stated, "Damn Chinese manufactured parts." And the statement was right in front of a Chinese oriental woman who had explained the pronunciation of her Chinese name for roll call. I am shocked to say the least.

We had a great time snorkelling with the crew and our kids (8 and 10 years old). Went to nice reefs and saw plenty of fish and even a few turtles! Great afternoon overall!
