Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Great time with amazing fish and reefs to see! It was breathtaking! Captain Chris and Brandon were very knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable even if it was your first time!

Knowledgeable captains, fantastic communication, easy check in. We loved the snorkel trip from start to finish. Great day in the water, we are not beginners, but even the beginners seemed to have a good time. The staff was very attentive to both the divers and the snorkelers on the tour I would highly recommend, Sharks stingrays and turtles!

We absolutely loved it. Skipper John and First Mate Brandon and all the support staff at the shop did a great job looking after us. Approx 30-40 minutes to get out to 1st reef site then roughly an hour in the water before we got on board and moved to a second for another hour. Better value and longer time out than other companies that we could find. The water was warm and we always felt safe. Something I noticed that any time I looked up at the boat from the ocean, the 2 guys were keeping a close eye on the group at all times. We saw plenty of beautiful tropical fish. And also spotted barracuda, puffer fish, nurse shark and even a very curious sea turtle that came right up to us. We were able to pet it briefly before it swam off. Absolutely amazing.
