Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

This is a great value. We had a great time. Crew was fun and informative. Was provided a lot of time to snorkel. Ride out to the reefs was about 25 minutes but beautiful scenery and good music kept it lively. I did get seasick but they warned us twice ahead of time that the waves were nasty and offered to reschedule with no charge. Tip: if you are seasick itā€™s actually much better IN the water than staying on the boat while stationary. And donā€™t look directly at the water look into the horizon :-) I would definitely recommend this to others and do it again.

Thanks for the review Kim! We always like to make our guests aware of the conditions prior to the trip and are glad you not only enjoyed the snorkeling but the ride and atmosphere as well. We are very fortunate to have such a beautiful place to call home and love sharing it with our guests!

The ocean waves were very rough from a storm coming and they took us out anyway. I was very disappointed by the reef as well. The only reason I saw any fish was because I threw up while swimming.

Great service. Energetic crew. Fun reefs beautiful reefs and awesome sights. Drive wasnā€™t far and was easy to learn. Worked really well for a big group such as we had.
