Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

We signed up for a morning snorkel tour. When we arrived, The company told us that rain was likely and the seas were choppy. They kindly offered to move us to the afternoon snorkel trip or even reschedule for the next day. We went out with them that afternoon and had two fantastic snorkeling adventures. Nice people, safe captain.

We had a great time with Captain John and 1st Mate Cutler! The staff that checked us in was awesome also. They took us to Grecian Rocks for our snorkeling. They guided us as to what we could anticipate out there and the safest practices for ourselves and for the reef systems. It was a beautiful day, the weather doesn’t get much better than what we had. It made for an awesome boat ride and visibility. We got to see all sorts of species out there. One in the party also got to see a spotted eagle ray, a treasured sight. Thank you John & Cutler, you guys were awesome!

Captain Pete was great! Loved his knowledge experience and hospitality! Jose was also extremely friendly and helpful
