Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

The people that work there are very nice and informative. Unfortunately, hurricane Ian had been through 10 days before and the clarity of the water was terrible. Everything was cloudy and we checked with other places for us to possibly go to the next day and were told they were not taking snorkel groups out because of the water. I would appreciate it if they had just said we cannot do tours at this time instead of wasting our money. That combined with the fact that the reef was not very close to the surface plus the “ship” was not very interesting made for a disappointing day.

Yes post hurrican the conditions have not been great and we have been honest with that. Some people really wanted to go and give it a try and we accommodated them. Others rebooked and some asked for cancellations and we gave full refunds. We try to let the customers know the conditions and allow them to make their own choices. Many people came to us because their trips were cancelled by other companies and they were grateful we did run our trip. I am not sure what ship you are refering to, I believe your were taken to one of our natural historical shallow wrecks. We sincerely hoped you were going to have a good experience and we reget we failed to meet your expectations. I hope you come back to Key Largo and enjoy a reef excursion.

11/10 amazing experience the crew (I think their names were Krissy and Catie?) were hilarious and super knowledgeable. Views incredible. Vibes incredible. Saw so much cool stuff and had a great time. If you're looking for a company to snorkel with, this is the one.
