Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

I would highly recommend this tour. I went with my family and everyone had a great time. They were easy to find, easy parking and check in. They supplied the snorkel, mask and fins for free and they were all in great shape and easy to use. We stopped in two different locations for snorkeling and they both were great! We had plenty of time to see everything we wanted. The staff were fun and informative. H was so fun and had lots of energy, he made the trip more fun. Good music as well. Captain Kate was great as well! I would take this tour again.

Our captain and 1st mate were amazing (Katie and Hadriam). Not sure if I spelled his name right, but he’s super cool. We had so much fun! The locations were great and the trip was worth every penny! And it was not cost prohibitive. I highly recommend this company.

I’ll start with a positive, the crew was fun. Now the negative. Right from the start, we were told that conditions were good but there were too many boats at the good spots and we’ll go to other locations (the spots we thought we would be going to). This was listed as a snorkeling trip but unfortunately half the customers were divers. We feel the crew catered to them. The conditions at the other spots had strong currents and snorkeling was difficult. I had better snorkeling experiences. This was a bummer of a trip. False advertising, wish we would have known it was a diver tour with snorkeling on the side.
