Overview

During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

Please bring the following items: sun protection, light shirt, bathing suit, footwear for the beach (tabis, aqua socks or tennis shoes), towel and change of clothes
Please include your choice of lunch: Ham, Turkey, Veggie or Peanut butter jelly
EACH CHILD 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Guests much be comfortable in the ocean. Smaller waves during certain times of the year.

Jay and Harrison were great. The tide was not cooperative so we did a modified version and missed out on the longer ride and the snorkeling was murky. Still really fun. Definitely enjoyed it and would do it again.

Aloha Mtdutah, Guiding is easy when you have perfect weather. Really good guiding comes into place when the weather throws you a curve and your guide make it a "plus". We really enjoyed this excursion with Mike as our tour guide. The river paddle was really scenic with beautiful views of foliage, birds, and homes. We then took a short trip out into the ocean to land on the beach and snorkel and have lunch. I was surprised how good the lunch was! A nice sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. There was ~45 minutes of transportation each way, during which Mike entertained us with stories, history, and ideas about restaurants and other activities on the island. I definitely recommend this trip!
