Overview

During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

EACH CHILD 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Guests much be comfortable in the ocean. Smaller waves during certain times of the year.

Jay and Sam were our highly competent local guides who started our tour with KAYAKING 101 and an excellent presentation on safety. Then the fun began! A leisurely paddle up the Hanalei River with spectacular views of the mountain range surrounding Hanalei Bay. Then back toward the bay with the ocean waiting for our kayaks. The snorkel tour of Hideaway Beach was my best snorkeling experience on this island, better than Poipu or Lawa’i beaches. Hideaway Beach was quiet, un crowded , and in a location with multiple perspectives for backgrounds for photography. I would take this tour again and HIGHLY recommend it to visitors to Kauai. Well Frank....we are going to hold you to to it and hope to see you back at Kayak Kaua'i snorkeling, hiking to a waterfall or going for the "big banana", i.e. sea kayaking Na Pali with Jay and Sam.
