When I was searching around and comparing the various tour groups in Harlem, I was keen to find a group/tour guide who was local and could provide an in depth understanding of Harlem and it's history beyond typical touristy experiences. I am very happy that I chose Harlem Heritage Tourism & Cultural Center! Not only does Neal have deep knowledge of Harlem 's history, it is clearly personal for him, he tied history to contemporary issues and was able to merge the theme of the tour "Harlem Renaissance" with some of my personal research interests. Highly recommend!

A big thank you for an inspiring afternoon. Highly recommended!
