Spiritual experience in the church The Apollo and the Cotton Club were spiritual in their own right! Excellent brunch and tour

Previously visited Harlem but this tour opened it up much more with extra information and explanation. Found church service disappointing - loud +++ , so much so that could not understand a word said or sung, which made it difficult to enter in. However, the three piece band and the most wonderful jazz singer at the Cotton Club more than made up with great renditions of well known gospel and secular songs, incorporating the gospel message in both. Had we not booked this addition to the tour we would certainly have missed out.

Dear Wimmerfield, It's wonderful to hear that our tour content gave you much more insight into the history of the Harlem neighborhood; and that the live music brunch at the Cotton Club completed your experience. We will be sure to inform the church of your feedback so that they can adjust their sound system. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on our Harlem Gospel tour with brunch Best regards, Erika Elisabeth Vice President Harlem Spirituals / New York Visions Maven American Journeys
