My 15-year old daughter and I both thought that the tour was a great experience. We learnt so much and Frieda is an excellent guide. I strongly recommend this experience to anyone interested in New York and the different communities that live there!

I've lived in Brooklyn for many years so have certainly seen the Hasidic community. But I didn't understand much of their history or culture or religious practices. Frieda was a joyful guide who understands, respects, and appreciates the community. The tour lasted a couple hours but had a couple stops for food and drink along the way. I can't recommend it enough.

What a lovely and interesting morning we had with Frieda as we ventured into another world. Frieda is a wonderful personable guide who has first hand knowledge of the world of the Chasidim as she had once been part of that community. She took the 13 of us on a walking tour of Hasidic Williamsburg explaining all the while what we were seeing. ... the neighborhood, the people, the life style. We understood from her personal story what it is like living in a Hasidic community and why she made that difficult personal decision to leave it. She is not only generous in sharing her knowledge, but she also included 2 sweet stops to enjoy a taste of some of the traditional foods of Williamsburg as part of the tour. Both my husband and myself highly recommend Frieda's very personal tour. I shouldn't forget to also say we brought a Swedish couple with us who loved the tour as well.
