This is a MUST, whether you are a native New Yorker or a tourist. Frieda's immense knowledge about the Hasidic community, paired with her insightful and wonderful personality made this tour an absolute joy. We cannot recommend it highly enough. The stories Frieda told us about her childhood will forever stay with us. Through her words, the walk through the neighborhood, and the interactions we had (and delicious food!), our lives were undoubtedly changed. I went with my mom, dad, grandma, sister, and brother-and-law (of all different religions and opinions), and this tour was the most intellectually stimulating and enlightening experience we've all had in years. Run don't walk!

Frieda's tour through Hasidic South Williamsburg was incredibly insightful. As a former community member herself, she possesses tremendous knowledge, respect and empathy for the community and the perpetuation of their beliefs. This tour provided us with an insider's perspective on this special community that is working to preserve what often looks like a foreign way of life. We highly recommend this tour to anyone really intrigued with this special community. LoriB

Frieda gave us an absolutely incredible tour; chock full of interesting information, presented without bias. We came away with so much more understanding of the culture of the Hasidim of Williamsburg. Frieda - you were great. Last night I was in my son's apartment and could hear Hasidic children in the apartment next door. Thanks to you, I now have an idea of what their daily life is like and I had a sense of them as individuals, not just collective "Hasidim".
