Step aboard the trolley for a thrilling and historical musical journey through Sarasota’s eerie past with Lady Melody & Mystery Spirits! Hear stories about famous murders, visit spirited buildings, and explore unsolved crimes during this 75-minute, air-conditioned nighttime tour.

Haunted Sarasota runs Friday nights year-round, but nightly in October 18-31. Prizes for best costumes during October, so come dressed to kill!

Tour includes complimentary beer or wine for guests 21+ at the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar before boarding.

ALL guests must be 18+. Every guest must have a paid ticket in order to board.

The gal who entertained us for 90 minutes was great!! Sorry don't know her name but she was a seamstress at the Players Theater for years. She didn't miss a beat in the entire 90 minutes, great story teller, nice voice - made the trip very interesting for us and our visitors from Wisconsin. Looking forward to The Mystery Tous - would not hesitate to recommend to any Sarasota residents - learned a lot about the history of the city and places we will go back to visit. Thank you Tammy for the discount on the tickets. Well worth the $$

Experience was far less entertaining than other tours and not worth the price. Not a great time. Could have been much better done

I am sorry you felt that way. This tour has gotten consistently wonderful reviews since it began in 2018. I am not sure from your review what you did not like. Perhaps you would enjoy the Murder Mystery Tour instead?

This was my fourth trolley tour with Discover Sarasota. It is fun to do with friends. I've lived in Sarasota all my life (mid 50s now) and feel like I am knowledgeable about Sarasota's history but I learn so many new things on each trolley trip. While I am learning, I am having fun. The talented cast keeps me engaged and there is often a surprise "guest". This isn't a Halloween horror event like at Universal, but an enjoyable evening with a few ghastly stories thrown in by some talented actors. Stopped by two old cemeteries that I knew about but didn't know anything about who was buried there. Thanks to Mary Whitaker for an enjoyable evening. As nice as the free drink is before the tour, The tour is 1.5 hours so, uhm, take care of your business before the trolley leaves.
