Take a hike out to Halema’uma’u crater overlook (keanakekoi). Walk through famous Thurston Lava Tube (Nahuku). And experience a personal facial at the steam vent attractions.

Akatsuka Orchid Gardens

**Not always available - location has a modified schedule, open WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS from 10:00am-3:00pm, taking a short break for lunch between 12:00-12:30** See the blooming display of orchids and cut flowers. KIMO ROCKS! Best tour guide EVER. Lovely person and so fully of island history and tours that even locals were asking him questions! Kimo went above and beyond to the point of allowing us to add onto our excursion. He knew so much about volcanos and kings ... oh goodness I could go on forever about this gem of a tour guide. He also made sure we stayed hydrated. Seriously- he made our vacation. I’m not lying. I’ll never forget him. Thank you our friend Kimo 🥰
