My husband and I booked tickets for a Friday afternoon food tour in Healdsburg, California, not really knowing what to expect. Although my husband is a chef, we have never done a food tour. All I can say is we were both blown away at the wonderful food and the insight of tour guide Tammy Gass! Every restaurant she took us to had a unique story, along with the cuisine. The best part of the tour was feeling like I was being shown around town by a local foodie friend and not a tour guide. Healdsburg is the perfect setting for a food tour. The town is small and easily traversed by foot, but also filled with an amazing number of world-class restaurants. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves to eat!

We recently took the Farm-to-Table Food tour and thoroughly enjoyed our three hours with Tammy. If you don't know Healdsburg very well, it is a great way to learn about the town as well as sample some wonderful food and drinks (everything we tried was wonderful and amounted to a large, extended lunch). We later returned to some favorites discovered on the tour to further shop (The Shed) or to enjoy an entire meal (Bravas). I highly recommend trying out one of the Savor Healdsburg tours. Just make sure you don't park in the street parking located immediately around the plaza that is designated for 3 hours only (the tour alone lasts that long). Head a few blocks away from the plaza to find parking without that time restriction.

This was our first time in Healdsburg and we decided to come up for the weekend to experience the Sonoma wine country. My boyfriend and I love food and wine, so we decided to book a food tour...what a great idea! We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of foods and restaurants we visited, and Tammy our tour guide, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and fun and took into account my vegetarian diet when selecting the restaurants. I definitely did not go hungry! A wonderful experience overall. We highly recommend!
