Overview

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses.

Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.

After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our pilot Christian was so nice and knowledgable. And wow! The views from the helicopter and the experience of landing on the glacier was thrilling! The dogsled ride was also incredible and the dogs were so sweet. And even our van driver Kevin helped to make this a memorable experience. All around, definitely worth every penny we spent!

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. The dog sledding part of the tour was fun and informative. The glacier landing was fun as well and the glacier was incredibly scenic. The pilot and the staff at the dog camp were personable and provided a lot of information about the glaciers, the iditarod race, and dog sledding in general.

We did many things in Anchorage and this by far was the best. The staff and our pilot (Ben) were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend coming to this company and location. We had a great time at the dogsled tour and were able to interact with the dogs after. The view at dog camp is unbelievable and relaxing, being so close to the glaciers is just breath taking. After the dogs our pilot gave us two options (to see a blue pool or ice cave). We chose the ice cave and landed on the lower glacier landing, we got some great pictures, drank glacier water, and took amazing pictures. The flight on the way there and back was smooth and comfortable. I believe this a must! P.S. They also take pictures all throughout the journey. I was very expressed and will be coming back!
