We did the easy walk offered through Westgate. It was great for an introduction to the Smokey Mountains and perfect for my 5 year old and 9 year old. My 16 year old who is not a fan of being in the woods also changed her attitude. She actually enjoyed the walk. It wasn't strenuous at all. There was a little incline, but nothing horrible. Our guide was awesome! Charles was very informative about the blossoming wild flowers, animals, and trees. He made sure not to step on any of the growing flowers. We also saw him pick up litter. He has such a great respect for nature. It was a truly refreshing experience. I definitely recommend this company, and look forward to someday booking a longer hike without the kids.

My father and I booked a hike with them through Viator.com. It was a 3-hour walk that guaranteed waterfalls. Even though we went during the low season (winter season) the tour guides were very knowledgeable and showed us everything they could along the trail. We stopped anytime we needed to, and our time taking in the many waterfalls was never rushed. Micheal Matzo was our main guide, and he had a great ability to make us forget the world outside the park and really immerse ourselves in the Great Smoky Mountains around us. The hike was not very strenuous; my 50-year-old father had no trouble making it through the 3 hours. One thing to keep in mind is you might get your feet wet crossing little streams and rivers....this is a small sacrifice considering all that is gained from the experience.

Sam gave us a very warm welcome to the Smoky Mountains with her interesting and informative tour which covered points of historical interest as well as natural beauty. She kindly provided hemlock tea which she herself had brewed to let us experience a true taste of Cherokee life. She was also able to provide useful information about other points of interest in the area. I highly this company. A great way to orientate yourself within the area. Thank-you Sam, Jennie
