Our guides Falcon and Kamu were knowledgeable and very helpful. My family of six had a blast. Plan for some mud if it has been raining, good footwear is a must (no flip flops).

This was a nice easy kayaking trip. Outfitters was the only tour that went on this river so it was peaceful and we felt like the river belonged to us. Our guide Sally was informative and made the trip enjoyable. It is advertised as a 4-5 hour excursion, but actually it was only about 45-60 minutes on the kayak, and then a hike in the woods for about one hour round trip which included a lunch stop by a watering hole. (Bring insect repellent). The whole excursion was a little more than about 2 hours once we got onto the kayaks. (Part of the time of the 4-5 hour excursion includes the trip to the launching point, getting ready at the launching point, and the return trip by motorized boat). So if you think you will be exhausted afterwards, not really so. There is one place you can swim -- you can take a rope swing into the water. The water was refreshing.

It's definitely a combination of the activity itself and the guides who are running it, that make or break things. These guys were great. Easy going, very knowledgable and good fun. The kayaking itself was just long enough to not cause too much strain on the arms! especially for a non-kayaker. It was a pretty and peaceful journey to our stop off point, where we walked through lush greenery to a rope swing, which was great fun jumping off the wooden platform and swinging into the water below. I was a bit excited about being able to also swing from the same rope that 'Indiana Jones' did in '...the Temple of Doom'. Would recommend this for adults and kids alike.
