Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

I have been on fast zodiac before, but brought my 11 y/o granddaughter, her first time on fast zodiac. A bit of a rough day, and she was a bit concerned, but Capt Chuck and First Mate Steve were super and it went so well, she was thrilled, in fact really thought the rough ride was great! Not a trace of seasickness despite rough seas, really per Capt Chuck's expert piloting. Not to mention the following the gray whale mother and calf playing near beach in Laguna! An experience she'll never forget for sure!

Had a great time with Capt. Gary and Janelle(?)... Only saw one snorkeling whale, but got right in the thick of a huge school of Bottlenose dolphins. Even saw Patches... What a blast!

We had a great trip despite some tough, foggy conditions! Captain Chuck and Jess worked hard to help us spot wildlife and even made sure it was ok to stay out a bit longer to really ensure it was a super trip. The RIB was so fun to ride in!
