Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

Great time! Saw over 100 dolphins and 1 whale. The smaller boat is the way to go. It covers so much water. So impressed with the effort they made to find us something. Carrying on a tradition that started when they opened the company, they handed out a delicious brownie when exiting the boat. Highly recommend.

Just a fabulous trip! We saw a huge pod of Bottle-nosed Dolphins, including a number of really young ones and the one partially leucistic individual, "Patch". The small boat allowed for an intimate and up-close experience with the dolphins. On the way back in, a small pod of Long-beaked Common Dolphins was reported, and so we detoured briefly to go see that second species. The crew was wonderful, and the commentary about the dolphins was informative. I've been on a number of these boats, and I STILL learned a lot about dolphins this morning.

So fun! The crew is very welcoming and friendly. Mrs. Dave's brownies are DELICIOUS! We went for my birthday and they gave me a shout out on the boat. We saw two different types of dolphin and a whale. The Zodiac was great because as soon as an animal was spotted by another boat, we would zoom over there and catch a glimpse of it. It is VERY chilly though so bring plenty of jackets/blankets! Everyone wore masks as well.
