Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

Had the best time!! Capt Marie was wonderful and made sure we saw whales and dolphins!! I loved the zodiac boats because we were able to go farther and faster and see whales!! Amazing.

Stupendous experience from the get-go. The whole crew was so kind and took extra attention to make sure we have an amazing experience out in the ocean. Captain Marie drove us into the ocean and she’s a true gentlewoman - she talked about the ocean creatures in detail while we out there and I learnt something new today. Joseph as well explained and showed us the dolphins and whales when it popped near us. Riding in Zodiac boat is a super awesome experience, it brings the real close encounter with the sea creatures - I’m super happy in selecting this boat ride with captain Dave’s. I didn’t feel like coming back to the land, I wanted to stay on the water’s forever. When we came back, we were given a super tasty Brownie - it was a very sweet touch from the crew. Honestly speaking, I have so far never had a brownie that tastes this good. I will definitely buy brownies, when I get out there next time - I still have that taste in my tongue. Folks, if you are planning to go Whale watching, I would say, you will have to only go with Captain Dave’s. They are the best! Thanks Captain Dave’s crew members. Until next time.
