Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

Mary and Josh did a fantastic job today! So many dolphns! Mary drover us all over to find several giant pods of dolphins and a Molamola! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This was the fourth whale watching trip my wife and I have taken with Capt. Dave's. All have been great. This last trip was exceptional in part to Captain Liz. She was insightful and a pleasure to be with. The zodiac boat was also a lot of fun and made for a better experience than previous trips. It may not be for everyone but we found it to be worthwhile.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but these guys deserve it. I've lived here for a few months now and lost count how many trips I’ve gone out with them. Each time has been amazing! Captain Marie and First Mate Matt are great. It's hard to pick what I like better, the whales or the brownies. Yes, they are both that good!
