Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

This tour was an amazing way to learn about the history and culture of Charleston. The tour guide was passionate about the city and I️ got a sense of the antebellum and post civil war era history. Charleston is one of my favorite cities in the US to visit - the vast majority of the city has historical protections that makes it seem like you are going back in history. I️ would highly highly recommend this entertaining and informative tour to anyone. -Mid 20s couple visiting Charleston

What a wonderful way to explore and learned about the city! Our two hours with Palmer flew by so quickly. Her love and enthusiasm for Charleston made for an engaging, entertaining, and informative tour. I️ am still blown away at how much we learned in 2 hours! Palmer has an amazing gift to make you feel as if you might actually be walking through Charleston 200 years ago. She is energetic, knowledgeable, super friendly and she definitely loves what she does!
