We booked this tour on the recommendation of our hotel concierge and our interest in a walking tour with a small group. Palmer was great! Very knowledgeable about the history of the city and open to questions from the group. The tour was only a little over a mile walking...maybe a bit more. Bring water, hat and sunscreen (as recommended ) as it is hot and extremely humid during the summer. There was a stop in an air conditioned theater which was welcomed, but plan to be warm/hot. We did the earliest tour available so the majority of the time we could stand in shaded areas. Palmer was attentive to the heat and often checked in with the group to be sure folks were doing ok. The pace was good and we saw the major highlights of the city in two hours. Just enough for what we were looking to do and not too much. Palmer was also open to giving other restaurant and tour recommendations. She was great and we would definitely recommend the tour to others. Thanks Palmer!

Oyster Point tours and our tour guide, Geoff, blew away my expectations and delivered an interesting and entertaining tour, which hit all the salient and beautiful points within Charleston. I had talked my reluctant wife into taking the tour, as she is not always a fan of history, plus I always have skepticism about historical tours, but Oyster Point gave both of us a great experience that led us to already start telling everyone we know to sign up on your next visit to Charleston. I personally enjoyed the history of the houses in Charleston, as I had always notice the uniqueness of the old homes. Geoff was knowledgeable and funny, plus he encourages questions and always had an informative answer. This tour is a great way to familiarized yourself with the city and is a painless way to walk off some calories you earned eating and drinking in Charleston.

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Charleston from NJ and came across this wonderful walking tour. Our tour guide, Geoff, led us on an enlightening and interactive journey through the streets of Charleston sharing historical stories and facts of Charleston's past and providing a look into Charleston's future as it's once small population continues to expand at rapid rates. Geoff's tour kept us engaged and moving as we learned about the Churches, Architecture, and History of this amazing city. Our tour guide was informative and able to answer questions from the group while keeping everyone engaged with his wit. This tour should not be missed!
