Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Yesterday my friend and I took a magnificent walking tour through historical Charleston. Bill was our guide with Oyster Point Walking Tours. I have never met such a knowledgeable and eloquent speaker. Bill made detailed historical points using his extensive background in theology, history and politics. Aside from being handsome and charming this young man knows his history. He was also able to sprinkle in information about the architecture of the downtown area. If you are looking for a taste of the regions culture and history without being bored this tour is for you. He also included a recommendation for dinner. Macintosh. Best meal I have ever had!!!

Bill provided us with a really engaging and informative tour. It was evident how knowledgeable he was in the history of Charleston. He is very passionate about history and that showed throughout the tour!

My husband and I visited Charleston over Memorial day weekend and took this tour and we absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was very energetic, highly informed, and very engaging. The tour helped situate us in Charleston and we learned a lot from it. Can't recommend enough.
