Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Had a great guided tour of historic Charleston with a group of about 18. Informative and detailed but not to a point of losing our attention. It was worth the $20 per person.

Bill is passionate about the history of Charleston and it makes the tour extra interesting. He is also able to answer all questions and provide any recommendations for other things to do and see in the town. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great tour of Charleston.

On March 23rd my daughter and I did the walking tour with Palmer Stowe, very well worth it and would do it again. We learned so much about the history of wonderful Charleston. Palmer was concerned that we all saw what interested each of us and was very quick to answer all of our questions. She is also very entertaining herself...an absolute pleasure to listen to!
