What To Expect

Vermilion Cliffs National Monument

Traveling to White Pockets in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument is a full day tour that starts in Kanab Utah and takes you through the Wilderness area of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Drive time takes 2.5 hours each way.

Hunter was such a great guide! The entire day went smooth and the scenery was incredible. Definitely a place that is a hidden gem. Hunter was a great driver (of intense roads) and had loads of knowledge to share. Spectacular tour and scenery and a day I’ll never forget!

We booked a tour to White Pockets from Page, Arizona with Grand Circle Tours. Angie is a great guide. She was very organized in the logistics of the tour, and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and flexible with the schedule. The White Pockets is amazing. The hike was easy. We went in October 2021, and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. One of my favorite tours in this area!

Our trip could not have been better! Fantastic bucket list photographic experience. We definitely could not have done this on our own, even with a 4-wheel drive rental. The long drive in over heavily rutted sandy trail was not well marked. Our guide, Bruce, expertly navigated the obstacles and once there gave us a tour of all the best sites. He was patient, allowing time for each of us to set up our shots and pointed out potential photo opportunities and kept us safe.
