What To Expect

Vermilion Cliffs National Monument

Traveling to White Pockets in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument is a full day tour that starts in Kanab Utah and takes you through the Wilderness area of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Drive time takes 2.5 hours each way.

From booking to drop off, this experience was excellent. There is absolutely no way to traverse White Pocket easily without a guide and Bruce was great. He pointed out all sorts of cool vegetation and geology in the area including pretty cactus flowers that seem to sprout of out nowhere and took us to see the beautiful cliffs and striations of White Pocket. He took some great photos for us and provided water and hiking snacks. Bruce is also an incredibly patient guide and will wait for us to catch our breath and help people along tricky areas. Great time, wouldn't miss out on it

Kyle really made this trip fun for us. He not only has vast knowledge of the area, but he also is fun to be with. He was patient with all the photos we all wanted to take and pointed out many great vantage points for a good photograph. He's a very interesting person and has travelled all over the world. I could have spent a week with him just learning about different places. He was great at communicating before the trip, answering all questions via text. He was on time, and had us back at the time we expected to return. The sandwiches were delicious! It was a wonderful and adventurous day! I hope to do more of his trips in the future.
