I'm so glad I visited this White Pocket and I used a tour company (Dreamland Tours). For photographers is an amazing photo location. It is like visiting another planet. It is full of great texture, leading lines and color variations. Temps were nice in Oct. No BLM permit required yet. The site in over 15 acres Given it is a long drive off the paved road on a dirt road and a one-lane sandy road you definitely need to be in the right kind of vehicle (high clearance 4x4) to get there safely. A tour company is highly recommended. We had the help rescue a front-wheel-drive SUV that did not turn back soon enough a tow out from this remote location could be very expensive $600+
