Very very Imformative. Very entertaining This woman cares about her job and cares about entertaining her Guests. Soooo very very happy to have Celeste as our guide and instructor. Loved it and loved her.

One of the most interesting things we did during our visit to Saint Augustine. The tour shows how medicine was done in the Spanish Colonial period, Our guide had huge amounts of knowledge about herbal medicine and encouraged us to smell the ingredients in the apothecary. She was great!

This was a great experience and as a nurse, one of the tours I looked forward to on our trip. Jose, our guide really did an excellent job taking us back in time and helping us to really envision that time during the war when medicine and ways to treat certain injuries were starting to develop. Triaging patients based on their injuries and assessments started happening with proper delegation for treatment. The nuns that were in the field were seen as valuable because they were doing more then just comforting dying soldiers, they were helping to save them.. the title of the nurse was born.. and I LOVE the fact that this tour gives props to not only the doctors of this time, but the nurses as well! Jose took his time answering questions, giving out valuable information and helping us as guests truly understand the foundation that that was set by this military hospital that has allowed us to continue to build on. I would recommend anyone to see and listen to this tour, it truly is our history and the guides that run it do an excellent job passing on the information clearly and passionately. Thank you for the opportunity, Jose.
