Overview

Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. First cocktail is on the house! Listen in to live Hawaiian music and enjoy a magnificent sunset as you sail back to Kona. What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

Mikayla (sp?) was a wonderful local lady that kept us up to speed on history on culture with folklore added. Her story-telling abilities were wonderful. The entire crew was attentive to every detail. The ship was immaculate and in excellent repair. The food was good, filling, but not excellent. The musician was great. This dinner cruise should be on everyone's "must" list if visiting Kailua Kona!

Booked this because of great reviews on Trip Adviser. We were not disappointed. The spinner dolphins put on a show and our table mates were great. Everything was as advertised and the dinner was very good, served in a cove such that we weren’t bouncing around. The historical commentary by Michaela Larson was very educational and well done. The live music was great and the dancing by the guests made it even more so. Great evening!!

Nice boat; great staff and really good food. Enjoyed the sunset cruise and we even did get a nice sunset after days of clouds. Nice historical information. Recommend and would do again.
