Took the dinner cruise down the coast hearing all about the history and the historical stories past down to each generation. So interesting. Historical landmarks and their history was pointed out as we passed them. A complementry drink and snacks were ready as we pulled away from the dock and as we pulled into the bay that holds the monument to Captian Cook dinner was served. Chicken, pulled pork, brisket with many sides. Everything was so good and the staff was very attentive to the guests. The entertainer was awsome. Would definately do this again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this sunset dinner cruise. The guide delivers a great historical narrative of the Polynesians that settled in the area during the cruise to Captain Cook. The onboard musician is excellent, many guests got up and danced. The sunset was beautiful.

I have watched the Body Glove cruises leave the Kailua-Kona Pier for years and finally decided to try the Historical Dinner Cruise. There were 3 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ship left on time and we were given brief safety instructions. Then we enjoyed our free cocktail and pupus while we listened to a well informed speaker tell us what we were seeing as we sailed south. When we arrived at the Captain Cook monument, the buffet dinner was served. The staff was very helpful in carrying the plates of food for us as we went back to our seats, There was live Hawaiian music for much of the trip. We saw spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. I highly recommend this trip. The staff were excellent in taking away used plates and cups and bringing refills when needed. And the sunset was the most beautiful I have ever seen. The food was delicious: fresh fruit and three kinds of meat. Bring a camera: there is lots to photograph. Most people were dressed informally. Bring a sweater as it can be chilly.

Aloha julie y, Thank you for this thoughtful review! We're glad you finally gave our dinner cruise a try! Good advice on the sweater-- better to have it and not need it than the other way around! Mahalo, The Body Glove Cruises Team
