My family took the history tour and then did the 15 minute escape room. The castle is pretty and has an interesting history. The tour was over an hour because we had a big group. My kids (the youngest is 2) couldn’t sit still. So I wouldn’t recommend little kids take the tour. The mini escape room was fantastic. They did a great job of linking the history of the castle to the escape room. There was also a lot for all ages to do. My 6 year old loved it, and so did my husband. I want to go back for the hour long escape room!

Just happened on this attraction by accident. Needed to do some touring in Springfield while we were there for a theater performance. Found this to be very interesting. The history was well presented and the premises was well cared for. Good to see someone stepping in and saving these historical buildings.

My 11 year old son and I did the 1-hour History tour with the 15 minute Escape Room afterwards. The tour was interesting and there is a lot of history which the guide make more intriguing by the way she tells it. Half way through the tour we found out she was the owner of the castle which made it more fun. I was pleasantly surprised by the difficulty of the Escape Room. Since we were all “Rookies” she gave us some clues to point us in the right directions…Thank You! It was a lot of fun! I highly recommend it! Both tour guides were amazing!
