The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening watching the sun set as we cruised the Hudson River. Soul City was the name of the band that was playing as we enjoyed our cruise. They were great and many people were up and dancing!

Visiting the Hudson Valley, we were hoping to have a narrated boat cruise. But this particular Friday it was a music cruise. No narration, unfortunately. We decided to go anyways to take advantage of a beautiful summer evening. We sat on upper deck and could hear the band well, but able to chat and enjoy the views and sunset. Ticketing was easy (online) and everyone seemed to be relaxed and enjoying the trip. Pulled out my phone to check out map to try to identify what I was seeing as we passed. Next time, I'll plan better to get the narrated cruise. Overall, worth the price and time spent on a brief vacation.

We really enjoyed our ride on the Hudson River. The personnel were all friendly and helpful. The ride and view of the river was spectacular. I look forward to taking the cruise again in the future when the leaves are changing.
