August 27th was a beautiful, sunny day, so my wife and I decided to go up to Kingston, NY. We booked the 2:30 PM cruise & it couldn't have been a more perfect day. The boat ride was smooth & the crew was very professional. There was a whiny six year old boy who was in front of us & his parents treated him as if he were an infant. It was annoying & a bit distracting, but we did our best to ignore them. That aside, it was a very relaxing ride and the narration was spot on. It was well worth the money and we will be taking this trip again.

The cruise was a surprise for my wife and she loved it. She's always loved the Hudson River, so It was a great way to see sections. I'm not sure if we'd do it again, but I recommend it to anyone.

I decided to take a couple hours off from my grueling 12 hour a day, 7 day a week schedule to treat my daughter and her friends, in the US from Scotland and Poland, to something different. Although the passengers were many retirees and one group of special needs people, I didn't have to worry about whether these young people would have a good time. They got a couple of sunny hours on the river, sights of beautiful houses, bald eagles, lighthouses and Hudson River landscapes along with commentary that was just the right mix of history and geography. One young couple dressed in 1920s era costume and Frank down at the bar added to the enjoyment and fun of the trip. Hudson River Cruises are wheelchair and stroller-friendly with a pleasant crew as well. Where can you find a couple hours of peace and tranquility at such a bargain price? I highly recommend this trip and autumn colors are coming on the Hudson so I may have to do it again.
