Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
This is a novice/beginner mountain biking activity - basic cycling skills are required but no prior off-road mountain biking experience is required.

We are asking that guests drive their own vehicle and follow the guide to the trailhead as a means of minimizing contact between you and your guide. If that’s not possible and you prefer to get in our van, you will then need to wear a mask while in our vehicle and when you are close to the guide.

We had the pleasure doing our first Mountain Bike adventure with Rim Tours, and their spectacular guides Julie and Sam. Neither of us has had any prior mountain biking experience, and I could not think of a better place for a first time ride. The scenery was out of this world, overlooking Arches National Park and the La Sal Mountains the majority of the trip. Our guides were great, coaching us through difficult terrain, and had our entire group traversing terrain I wouldn't think we would be capable of as first time riders, but with the guides' help it was made to be very easy! Highly recommend and already look forward to our next trip!

We enjoyed out 1/2 day tour to Courthouse loop and were taught the basics of mountain biking on the technical bikes. Michael was a great guide and even taught us about the area including a stop at a pothole with tadpoles and shrimp! We had varied abilities in our group and he did a nice job differentiating the tour.

Had a great time with Noel as the tour guide. He was very thorough giving the basics to get us started. He was very encouraging and supportive during the ride. Nice tour!
