Celebrated our daughter's 15th birthday at this Luau and they sang happy birthday and mentioned our daughter, by name. It was beautiful with historic representation of Hawaii and all the cultures that contributed to it. The dancers, musicians, emcee, hostesses, serving staff, were all amazing. However, I had to take a star off of this rating because of the food. This would have been a 5 star experience if the food was better. It was edible but just not outstanding.

Our family of four (with teens) thoroughly enjoyed the Island Breeze Luau during our recent trip to Hawaii. For us, it was the perfect luau because it wasn't huge and didn't approach what I would consider a cattle call. They had separate tables as well for the different family groups which was a plus. We found the grounds to be very nice as well with a particularly pretty view of the Kailua-Kona coastline. The food was very good too. We enjoyed everything we ate. Last, but not least, we thought the show was really well done. It's just the right length, well produced, and provides a nice history of Hawaii and the Pacific region as a whole. For the money we paid, we thought the Island Breeze Luau was well worth it and a really fun experience (plus really well organized). Our teens enjoyed it as well!

Nothing but a money grab. If you have never been before they you will probably like it but for someone that has been many times before, its not worth the money until they go back to normal. All the pre show activity are missing. The menu and drinks are stripped down. Mai-Tai's were so bad we poured them out, Only 1 beer and 2 soft drink sections for the kids. was not impressed by the new table layout. I know they use the excuse that's its covid but its not. there were no covid restrictions going on inside the show, no spacing, no mask but instead they too out all the fun from the pre show so people cant gather around, but they all gather around to take a picture by the water under the trellis at the same time and the buffet line, what a mess. wait till they go back to normal or lower their price. the performers they were all excellent and the actual show was very good. Before this last show i would of given them 5 stars but not anymore. Cant wait for them to get back to normal.
