The performers were excellent and the location is beautiful. The weather held up as well, which was a plus. It was interesting to see the adjustments due to COVID restrictions, such as separate tables for each party, but I was glad that things like the little hula lesson were able to be done. I only took a point off because of the food. The food itself was good, but as a vegan I felt it was a bit limited. On the website a menu had been listed (maybe older?), which had more vegan options on it. At the time of the reservation you can also add dietary restrictions/choices, which however did not really come up at any point. There was a fair amount of side dishes for me to eat, so I didn't go hungry, but I feel there is room for improvement.

On the specific date we went it rained, so that's a lost star that's in no way their fault! If we had wanted to leave and not stay in the rain they would have given us a refund or moved the tickets to a different date. The show as very educational and the dancing was great! Our one year old was in a trance! Such awesome culture across the Pacific islands. The food was really good and big portions/as much as you want since it's a buffet. Before you leave check out the Hawaiian/Polynesian exhibit inside the hotel.

Overall, I thought the singer and dancers were exceptional! We had quite a bit of rain which I believe was handled with grace and dignity. The food was phenomenal! My only concerns were, the pricing jumped up just prior to booking our reservation. I didn’t mind, I had great expectations. All the other reviews I had read, raved about the Royal Court arriving by boat, which would have made it feel a bit more authentic. They also claimed that they were greeted with leis and pictures, which we were not. So, in the end, I was wondering why we were charged a higher price, yet received less.
