THIS IS A RUGGED, 4x4 ONLY TRAIL. For those wanting a smoother experience and to see more of the park highlights please consider our Joshua Tree Driving/Van Tour. We don't recommend it for anyone with any back injuries, with any neck injuries, anyone that is pregnant or gets car sick easily. Age limit is 6 years old. This is group tour.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. We wanted to do something different, and going on a jeep tour in Joshua Tree national Park fit the bill! Our guide, Raul, was really great. I had never been in the desert before, and he was so knowledgeable and welcomed questions. He knew all sorts of information about the animals in the park, the foliage, the weather, camping, and any other questions that we had. He was very kind and also very excited about the area and sharing his knowledge. I enjoyed the day. The jeep tour was off-roading and quite bumpy at times, but the jeep had great suspension and I was very impressed that we were not jostled around as much as I had anticipated, with it being considered a moderate-intensity off-roading experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would be interested in seeing a beautiful Park.

Thank you! Our Joshua Tree jeep tour uses a rugged route but is well worth it since it does get you to such a remote part of the park that few tourists ever get to see. So happy that you enjoyed Raul.

Isabel was our guide and driver on our off road Joshua Tree tour and was great-very knowledgeable and a good driver (off road not that easy)

My Aunt, friend and I booked a tour with Big Wheels to go see Joshua Tree National Park. We loved it! Isabella was awesome and knew so much about the flora/fauna and geography of the park. We highly recommend her as your guide!

Thank you! Isabel is an encyclopedia. I have seen her have a question about a certain plant or flower on tour for example and then come back the next day with a two page explanation of the flowers' entire life cycle. She loves her job and takes it seriously.
