Head out on this a small group tour into Joshua Tree National Park conducted on an exciting enclosed Hummer, SUV or touring Van. Gawk at the amazing contortions of rock that create an amazing landscape of vibrant geologically created colors against the bluest sky in California!

Your expert guide will illuminate your understanding about how this landscape was created and share the stories of the Indians and settlers who lived here.

What To Expect

Joshua Tree National Park

We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. We will take some roads where a 4x4 is required where few people will ever see. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.

Cap Rock Trail

Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.

Intersection Rock

This iconic rock formation is one of the most popular places in the park for rock climbers. Gawk at the climbers as they challenge the perils of the 3rd dimension.

My wife and I went to Joshua tree in April and reserved this tour. Their policy was that a minimum of 4 people in a Hummer was required but we demanded that it be private for the 2 of us since we traveled to California specifically to see Joshua Tree. It was worth every penny. The Tour guide was wonderful, spent the most of the day with us before bringing us back to Palm Springs to our hotel. We learned not only about the plantation and the animals but also about the formation of the desert and the fault lines in that area. Also this Hummer was air conditioned and we would never have been able to do this in the open Hummer of the other tours.

Enjoyed our tour tremendously. Picked up several people in the van and we drove to exchange it for the Hummer. Into Joshua Tree NP, we got a tour that we would never be able to do on our own. This tour does not visit the standard sites on the main road. Learned about the desert, the Joshua tree, the cactus, other plants and trees too. A visit to the San Andreas Fault, a bit of tracking ( we saw some paw prints) and loads of desert information. George was very knowledgable, and the Hummer was a fun ride.

Gary and Josh picked us up at our hotel. They were great throughout the trip---very good guides. They had tons of local knowledge and kept us educated and informed. The H2 was super fun. This was a great way to see Joshua Tree in a limited amount of time. We got to see most of the key spots in the park--and was back in our hotel at 2pm. Joshua Tree is a special place. We are very glad we used this company .
