What To Expect
1
Joshua Tree National Park
We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. We will take some roads where a 4x4 is required where few people will ever see. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.
2
Cap Rock Trail
Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.
3
Intersection Rock
This iconic rock formation is one of the most popular places in the park for rock climbers. Gawk at the climbers as they challenge the perils of the 3rd dimension.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Patrick, our guide was fantastic - really knows his stuff, both culturally and geographically within the park itself. He really is the person to show you the park and surrounds - highly recommended. No problems at all with Patrick or the tour company.
However, the Hummer is not the best vehicle to use for such a tour in my opinion. Why? Well, when you think Hummer you think big right? They are big on the outside but fairly cramped on the inside. Especially if you are put in the back seats like we were for half the tour. It was cramped and with restricted visibility. Not good when you are paying that sort of money. In my opinion, a van with easy access and good window viewing for everyone would be a better option.

We were recently in Palm Springs celebrating a birthday and splurged for a private tour, and as luck would have it, we met Patrick Whan as our tour guide. The backroads tour of Joshua Tree park is amazing but what made the day over the top was Patrick's knowledge and willingness to ensure it was a birthday to remember! His customer service started a couple of days before the trip, confirming all the details, asking us what type of music we enjoyed and reminding us to bring warmer clothes as it gets cool at sunset in the park. After I mentioned I wanted a special birthday memory for my wife, and wanted to bring a bottle of champagne we could share at sunset...he made sure he had a cooler full of ice to ensure the champagne was kept cold, and two flute glasses so we could celebrate in style. Throughout the trip he was asking questions and sharing knowledge about the park, its animals, its vegetation and its history. Through all the questions he found the perfect spots for pictures, and took many pictures of us. At sunset he took us on a short hike to the top of Eureka Peak, where we got some incredible pictures of the highest Joshua Tree in the park, the sunset and our champagne toast. This tour is well worth it, but if you have the opportunity to do a private tour, and you can get Patrick as your guide I would HIGHLY recommend it. Thank you to Bill and Patrick for making the birthday celebration an amazing adventure.

Two of us took the tour on Friday 11/10/2017 and our driver Bruce was SUPER knowledgeable and friendly. It was definitely worth having a guide! And the luxury of the vehicle was pretty cushy too. Bruce took us to the very BEST tavern for dinner afterwards; I loved everything about the Joshua Tree Saloon, especially the food! I have to say it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I recommend this to any traveler!
