Head out on this a small group tour into Joshua Tree National Park conducted on an exciting enclosed Hummer, SUV or touring Van. Gawk at the amazing contortions of rock that create an amazing landscape of vibrant geologically created colors against the bluest sky in California!

Your expert guide will illuminate your understanding about how this landscape was created and share the stories of the Indians and settlers who lived here.

See the most iconic and most photographed places in the park as well as stop at a viewpoint where you can see all the way to Mexico!

What To Expect

Joshua Tree National Park

We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. We will take some roads where a 4x4 is required where few people will ever see. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.

Cap Rock Trail

Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.

Intersection Rock

This iconic rock formation is one of the most popular places in the park for rock climbers. Gawk at the climbers as they challenge the perils of the 3rd dimension.

Four of us took the 4 hour Hummer adventure tour into Joshua Tree National Park with Patrick as our guide last week. The temperatures were hot that week and we wondered how we would survive in an open Hummer. All worries were behind us once Patrick picked us up at our hotel and drove us out to the Hummer. The entire experience was great. He took us into the park and it was like having it to ourselves - the scenery was fantastic. Patrick was so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, geology, the history of the area. - he really made it come alive for us and we have such appreciation for this magnificent area of the country. Patrick looked after our well-being - making sure we were always well hydrated with lots of water and even a few snacks. The four hour tour just flew by. We all agreed that this tour was most assuredly a highlight of our week.

Great fun, but seating a little uncomfortable for the fist row middle seats. Guide was very good, knew the area, plants. And trees.

Jeff gets a 5 star review for a 5 star tour! Jeff took us to all the sites and went out of his way to make sure the kids 8 and 11 were entertained and regaled! with his facts, stories and anecdotes to which they still recall weeks later.
