From pick up to drop off this was a slick seamless trip. A very professional outfit and a very professional land and air crew. On the ground we were made to feel very relaxed but informed by Isaac in particular. We were briefed and given over boots with spikes. We had our own walking shoes but a pair of sensible trainers is all that is required with the over boots supplied .A warm coat is helpful but I didn't have mine zipped up. Hat and gloves are optional. There isn't room for a lot of gear with you. Just what you can get in your pockets and of course the camera round your neck.Bags are stored securely on the ground but an empty water bottle is great for collecting some glacial water. Casey our pilot made us feel very relaxed and kept us well informed. We flew like a bird. It was a spectacular trip with lots of info and lots of time for personal reflexion. The ice field was amazing, too soon it was time to leave. Many thanks to all involved, it was a fabulous experience.

This was one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever done. Not only the helicopter, but landing on Herbert Glacier, absolutely 🤯 mind blowing. And our pilot Star was the cherry on the sundae. Knowing that he was in the coast guard for 12 years and flew search & rescue made me feel all that much more comfortable flying with him. And his knowledge of the glaciers and surrounding areas is fabulous. Highly recommend if you can request him.
