No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

Please ensure your weight is in the correct format (kgs/lbs) when you include your weight at checkout
ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

My husband and travel a lot and have done a lot of cool things, but this was one of the best. IT'S SOOOO BEAUTIFUL UP THERE! Words cannot describe the beauty of the glacier or the thrill of cruising over Juneau. Originally we booked the glacier dog sled activity but it was canceled. We were disappointed and almost didn't go for the glacier walk. I'm so glad we did. We had a wonderful pilot, only one other couple on the tour, and a one-of-a-kind experience. I thought everyone we interacted with at Coastal Helicopters was really friendly and helpful and overall, the process was efficient and professional. Would highly recommend!

DO NOT BOOK WITH COASTAL: This company is a money machine without shame or ethical boundaries; indifferent to customer service since most of their business is with giant cruise ships. They charge a lot with glowing promises of a memorable experience with a guide/pilot and deliver very little. We were stuck like sardines in the middle of the back seat of a helicopter with a very poor view—both ways, to and from the glacier we were promised would be a spectacular viewing experience. My wife, who lived in Juneau years ago, was very excited to take this adventure and ended up weeping in frustration. This was, I hasten to say, on the event of our anniversary. All for $618. We spoke later with Sarah, a manager in charge, who was indifferent to our complaints and offered nothing at all, save a grim face. She did remark that we could have purchased MORE seats ($$$)to give ourselves more space! Thanks, Sarah... The pilot, Jessy, a fine pilot, was not knowledgeable enough to inform us about the glacier beyond a couple of sentences . It WAS apparently up to her to rearrange passengers (by weight) She declined to do so, in less than two seconds of reflection. I urge you to not invest your hope and money in Coastal Helicopters.

We flew to the Morris Glacier and found it a wonderful morning. We got to see so much and the glacier was stunning. We originally had the dogsledding booked, but the weather had to change the plan. Coastal were efficient and friendly to offer us the option and we are glad we took it.
