No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

During this stop you will take in amazing views, drink the fresh cold glacier water and explore around the surrounding area. Your pilot will be your guide for this stop.

This is a must do activity. You fly up the mountainside to the glacier field. You can see sheep and goats on the rugged mountains. Walking on the glacier is exciting. The pilot explains everything and is very helpful. We loved it.

Having not been to Alaska before I thought it would be awesome to walk on a glacier. The cruise line we were traveling with had this same excursion but at a higher price. It was very easy to find the reps for the tour where they drove us to the Juneau Airport. They provided us with glacier walking boots and had extra clothing if we needed. After a safety briefing, we were put in our seating positions with 6 per helicopter. Our pilot (Casey) and tour guide was awesome. Amazing views during the 15 minute flight than took us around the glacier. Provided great history and facts about the area.

OMg this was the best trip. We did the pilots choice and landed on 2 glaciers and it was fantastic and on the day the weather was perfect. Would highly recommend it rather than the one glacier stop. He pilot is awesome and was very informative.
