No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

Don't let the price scare you away. This is worth every cent. We took this as an excursion from our cruise and it was by far the best one. I highly recommend this to anyone. I have traveled all over the world (44 countries and counting) and this ranks near the top of anything I've ever done. It's beautiful, breathtaking, and a unique experience you will not regret. Budget for it and do it!

We were in Juneau for a day of our Alaska Norwegian cruise and decided to take this helicopter tour. What an amazing experience! They picked us up at our cruise dock and took us to the airport. About a 15 minute drive. There we received overboots for traction on the glacier. I would recommend wearing tennis shoes rather than the hiking boots we wore, as I think they would be more comfortable. The flight to the glacier was stunning and our pilot told us about many of the interesting points of interest. The glacier was truly beautiful and interesting. We walked around and took pictures for quite a while before returning to the helicopter for the flight back to the airport. Our driver was very helpful, and even dropped us off in town so we could eat dinner before we returned to the ship.

Alaska was in the middle of a heat wave in June of 2019. In addition, there were wildfires raging throughout the state..... this was still THE BEST TOUR!! Very professionally run, pick up was easy -- Driver was nice. Extremely efficient in the office and our Pilot was a blast.
