No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

This was a very fun experience, but a little short for the cost. The flight was less than 10 minutes in each direction, and we spent maybe 20-25 minutes on the glacier. The views were awesome and our pilot (Josh) was great! The logistics of the operation were seamless, and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Overall, it was a great experience. We felt very safe and well-prepared for the flight by the crew who provided spikes for our shoes and other safety information. We landed on a glacier and were alone, which was nice as we weren't tripping over others. We enjoyed great views, good information about the glacier from the pilot, and some nice photos. We just wish (1) it had been a little longer (seemed like about 15 total minutes on the glacier, though it was probably a bit longer, maybe 20-25 minutes?), and we didn't really walk around much on the glacier and, (2) we would have flown around a little to see a few other parts of the glacier, not just the place where we landed. Maybe it was because we shared the trip with another family with younger children, so it was less adventurous. Overall, we recommend it!

I think Jamie was our pilot. Outstanding tour.. Totally awesome. Jamie was awesome. This excursion was the highlight of our tour. The flight was the best ever. I would also like to thank the staff. They were fantastic also. Thanks, looking forward to doing this again.
