Our family of 4 recently stopped in Juneau on our Alaskan cruise. We booked this tour knowing it would be a once in a lifetime experience. We had an amazing trip to Herbert glacier with Michael as our pilot and guide. He landed right near a stream that had dug into a fall in the glacier, seeing this was just spectacular. We were able to get a few bottles of glacier water to drink and take home....definitely go with empty bottles, it's the best water! We were the only ones on the glacier and wished we could have stayed longer. I hope my kids remember this for a very long time, it's a tough experience to top!

Our excursion to the glacier was cancelled twice due to weather, we were highly disappointed but glad that they lean towards the safety of their clients. Not sure if we will be back to Juneau again unfortunately but this was my bucket list priority. They called twice trying to get us up but weather did not cooperate, I am sure it would of been a fantastic adventure.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! The weather in Juneau is ever changing, as you probably experience. We are sorry you were not able to get up to the Icefield during your stay in Juneau but hope one day you find a way to make it back! We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Alaska. We were going on an Alaskan cruise so booked the helicopter and dog sled tour (separate from the cruise listed tours) for while we were in Juneau. Unfortunately the weather prevented us getting to the dog sled site but the company could get us on to another glacier. While we were disappointed not to go dog sledding the alternative was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our pilot Pete was fantastic, showing us around the area and describing features on the glacier. It was an amazing time and definitely worth doing.

Thank you so much for your review! I am glad to hear that you were able to take our alternative tour from what you originally booked. Our Dogsled camp is located at a higher elevation and can be hard at times to access due to the weather. However, the alternative tour, our Icefield Excursion, is an amazing option and thank you for joining us on that tour. We hope you enjoyed the rest of vacation in Alaska. Kind Regards, Sarah Lowell
